This work titled May Moon by Calaj is part of a series of works
by two artists serving one purpose, entertaining the presence the Tao.
Over the course of time, Matt and Janet, working together,
sharing philosophies, discovery, technique and process,
a ritualistic practice of painting developed.
Using predetermined painting preparation activities as steps or mantras,
a double function is served, preparation for painting and equally important,
a meditation that germinates and awakens consciousness and
releases the energy or spirit that is used to create.
