Brigitta Rossetti was born in Piacenza in 1974. She graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Pavia with a thesis on the diacritical study of Promessi Sposi by A. Manzoni, now conserved in the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense of Milan. She specialized and received the MEM, Master in Multimedia Publishing, at the Polytechnic Institute of Milan.
Originally a poet, painter and video installation as a natural evolution of her art, Brigitta attended international ateliers and participated to international workshops such as the International Akademie fur Bildende Kunst in Salzburg with zhou Brothers developing painting and sculpture with Asta Grotig. Brigitta has received numerous awards and exhibitd in the contemporary art scene in numerous international exhibitions, biennials and art catalogs. Her works have been acquired by collectors in private collections and is present in italian museums. Brigitta Rossetti currently works in Milan and Chicago.
