Turning the Page: A Faith-Based Art + Mindfulness Experience

A Space Just for You

Life moves quickly. Seasons change—often before we fully process what we’ve lived through—and we can find ourselves carrying emotional layers that once served a purpose but no longer belong in the present. Scripture reminds us that “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV), inviting us to pause and discern what this season is asking of us.

By this point in the year, many of us have already learned something important: what quietly followed us forward, what has felt heavier than expected, and what is ready to be integrated, released, or reimagined. This experience is not about restarting or fixing anything. It is an intentional pause—a moment to listen for wisdom, to ground ourselves in truth, and to choose what comes next with clarity and trust consciously.

Join Dr. Yanina Gomez and artist Sergio Gomez for a two-hour, intimate Art + Mindfulness experience rooted in reflection, creativity, and faith. Throughout the evening, carefully selected Scripture verses will be used to help ground the experience—offering spiritual support, perspective, and reassurance as you reflect on what you are carrying and what you are ready to place in God’s hands.

Through guided mindfulness, reflective reflection, and Scripture, you will work on a single canvas, building visual layers that represent your personal journey. The first layers will reflect patterns, emotions, habits, or experiences that are complete for this season—layers you may be ready to acknowledge, soften, or surrender. With care and intention, you will then paint over them, not erasing the past, but honoring it—making space for renewal, insight, and what is ready to emerge, trusting that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6).

As you enjoy curated bites and mimosas, you’ll be gently guided to respond through color, texture, and movement, allowing the creative process itself to become an act of reflection, release, and faith-filled integration.

Art experience is NOT necessary.

This experience is about presence, honesty, and meaningful transformation—not performance or perfection.

Together, in a quiet and supportive circle, you’ll reflect, create, and reconnect—leaving with a finished piece that holds both where you’ve been and what you are intentionally stepping into next, grounded in faith, clarity, and renewed trust.

Why This Experience Matters

This experience offers more than a creative morning; it provides a rare opportunity to intentionally close one emotional season before stepping into another. By slowing down and engaging both reflection and creativity, you create space to recognize patterns that no longer serve you, gently release what feels complete, and consciously choose what you want to carry forward.

The act of layering colors becomes a tangible practice of transformation—supporting integration rather than avoidance, and reflection rather than rushing ahead. You will leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded, with a renewed sense of agency over your inner narrative and a visual reminder of the space you’ve created for growth, clarity, and possibility in the season ahead.

Why Attend?

  • Create emotional and mental space by consciously releasing what no longer serves you in this season.

  • Reflect on what you’ve been carrying—without judgment—and reconnect with clarity and intention.

  • Express transformation through color layers, allowing art to hold what words cannot.

  • Enjoy a restorative experience that blends mindfulness, creativity, and meaningful connection.

  • Receive exclusive 15% savings on gallery artwork during the event as a thank-you for joining us.

This is not a workshop.
It’s a threshold moment.
A quiet, meaningful pause to honor what you’re releasing and intentionally welcome what’s next.

Spots are limited for this experience.
Reserve yours and give yourself the gift of release, clarity, and possibility as you step into a new season.
