Lake Worth, FL – 33 Contemporary Gallery is proud to present TERRAIN: Contemporary Abstract Landscapes, a compelling group exhibition curated by Sergio Gomez, MFA. The exhibition will be on view from May 1 through June 20, 2025, at the Palm Beach Art & Design Showroom in Lake Worth, Florida.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, May 1, from 6 to 8 pm. Come and celebrate with us! Meet many of the participating artists and explore this stunning exhibition that reimagines landscapes through abstraction.
TERRAIN explores the evolving dialogue between nature and abstraction in contemporary art. Moving beyond classical depictions, the artists in this exhibition use abstract approaches to evoke the essence of the natural world. Through a range of media—including painting, drawing, printmaking, digital art, mixed media, and photography—these works invite viewers to experience terrain, light, and space in new and innovative ways.
This exhibition celebrates the creative ways in which artists are reshaping the traditional landscape genre to reflect personal vision and contemporary sensibilities. Rather than replicating nature, they reimagine it—offering immersive and emotionally resonant experiences.
A digital viewing room and sales platform for the exhibition will be hosted online via Artsy, ensuring global visibility and accessibility for collectors and art enthusiasts.
To further commemorate the show, 33 Contemporary Gallery will publish a full-color catalog featuring all participating artists and their works. It will be available both digitally and in print, serving as a lasting record and collectible publication.
